I trying to tie 2 bcm50 together and looking for a simple easy way.
I was thinking of using the 4 analog trunks and connecting them to the 4 anlong ports on the other and setting up a pool access code that way we are tranfering calls between the 2 that way.
is this something that will work or I'm i thinking it wrong?

It would work, if you explained for what reason you are doing this there might be another simpler fix.

It will work. I've used that setup on Norstars for years. A couple of DTI/PRI cards connected back to back will make it more seamless though.

I have a costumer that would like a separete music on hold for 2 companies in the same office, each with about 20 users, they are getting new PRI services and the old norstar that has copper line selectors to play 2 MOH the line selectors only work with copper trunks with PRI that will no longer do the trick, they would like to be able to transfer between the companies.

They can use copper CO trunks and just use the PRI to connect the two systems together. Or even cheaper would be just purchase a few VoIP trunks to link the two. That or PRI would make the systems play together better than copper. Problem with copper is they can't pass digits between the systems.
