Valcom Loud Ringer Horn (Station Port/CO Line) (Model # V-9925A)

I have all IP phones on a BCM50 at a remote location that is connected back to my 61C here at HQ. (I can program them from here) Dial tone at the remote site is provided by splitting 11 channels off an incoming T1 via an Adtran. Adtran>66 block>BCM

The location has 8 lines up front and three in the back in their own block. The 3 back lines are a hunt group (from the provider) with 3 phones in an MCR group but my users are complaining the the ring volume on the i2002s is too low to hear over the machines. Can I simply punch this external ringer down to the main line line of their 3 line group (on the 66 block between the Adtran and the BCM) and it will ring whenever that line is called?

Or will there be more to it than that?

Thanks!

You need something that will connect to all 3 lines.I suggest you call Valcom tech support at 1-800-825-2661.

Even if the 2nd and 3rd lines are just roll-ever lines to the 1st? I will call Valcomm but I just want to try and understand what I need before start talking to people who want to sell me stuff. ;-)

Thanks!

Connect it to the AUX ringer port and program the lines you want to ring for AUX ringer.

I just got this note from Valcomm:
The Valcom V-9925A will only ring 1 line, unless connected to an analog port off the phone system that isd programmed to ring on all incoming lines.

The V-9925A will not connect to a Nortel digital extension port.

So can I assume the AUX ringer port is the analog port I need? And I can program that in Business Element manager? (I have seen a setting for AUX ringer in there but I didn't mess with it then because I had no need to)

So I just tell that aux port to ring on the three extensions that I want punch the ringer down to the right port in the BCM? I have the documentation and I believe my vendor was kind enough to mark a lot, if not all, the different ports on the 66 block that goes to the BCM.

I expect I can figure it out if that one isn't specifically marked...
