will password policy change cause immediate expiration?

Very quick question: If I enable password policy to require strong passwords will my domain users' passwords expire immediately, or will they live out their natural lives, and just require new passwords to be compliant? Thanks in advance!

If I remember correctly, the old passwords are only affected once they are up for change, rather than being forced to change now !!

Awesome, it's going to cause enough complaints and forgotten password issues as it is... I don't need 50 users hollerin' at me at one time because they cannot create a compliant password TYVM!!
