Will normal memory work in a DL380G1

Hello,

I`ve just joined tektips, and i hope i can find the anwser to my problem here.

I have a compaq proliant DL380 G1 with a p3 733mhz processor and vrm but no memory. So i now want to test the machine but i can`t find regged memory near here. But normal non ecc non regged is available here.

My question is: will non ecc non regged sd-ram work in a compaq dl 380 ?

No. You need PC133 ECC CL3 spec memory - loads of it on eBay.....
