will netmeeting work without modification to pix?

If I want to use netmeeting between two locations, one of which is using a pix 501, the other using no firewall (just cable modem to pc), do I need to install any commands on the pix?

I thought that the fixup protocol h.323 command that is preinstalled will allow this app to work, by default.

The fixup protocol tells the PIX to inspect that protocol to make sure nothing fishy goes on in it. However, netmeeting should work providing you allow it.
