Will NEC Electra Elite support non-NEC handsets?

I've got an NEC Electra Elite IPK and a number of NEC Dterm 80 handsets that I'm supporting, with 1 NEC wireless handset.

The wireless handset is on it's last legs and I was wondering if other models would work with the NEC, or if it is locked into proprietary handsets only.

Thanks,

If you want multiline functionality you have to use the NEC product. If you are looking for single line functionality install an analog card in the system then you can use any cordless phone you want.

Thanks for the heads up. We don't need the multi-line functionality, so I think we'll be putting in an analog card.
