Will MoveLast find the newest record?

Assuming I always add records to a table in chronological order, i.e. the last one added is the newest, if I query this table and build a recordset, does ADO pull the records in sequential order? And therefore would the last record be the most current?

no. use function datediff in the query and choose the max if is negative and the minimal value if it is positive. John Fill
