Will job modification automate full backup

Hi All,

I have a request to remove a node from BrightStor Backup job as this node is decommissioned. At present this job is configured under GFS where Mon-Thu differential and Fri full. I were notified my a colleague that if I modify the job from Mon to Thu it will perform Full backup although it is set to differential and reason being is because the job is modified

Questions: -

1)Is the above statement true?
2)Is there supporting documentation from CA? If yes can you point the URL?

It really depends on the version and patch level your running - for newer versions it shouldn't force a full if modding and resubmitting a GFS job.

This was never documented but was always a point of contention.
