Will include statements work for every server? 2

Will include statements such as this,
<!--#include file="header.inc" -->
work in most every server if used inside an html file?

I am just curious about using them and would find it very thrilling to be able to use it everywhere and anywhere I can.

well either your server must have SSI included (pages must end in shtml)
or it must run ASP or PHP -- syntax is different for each one.

So my <!--#include file"header.htm"--> might not work for ASP. What would be the syntax for an ASP include file?

(I just found out the site I am working on does not support PHP)

So long as you are using ASP, this will work.

SSI Include (the page that calls the include must be .shtml)
