will i lose PRI

have a cabinet with a pri and 6.1 software not being used. with the system off can i pull the software card out with out loss of any programming or the pri key code. need the 6.1 to upgrade a 5.0 to a 6.1 and then to a 7.1 . so what could happen if anything.

The enabler code is stored in the KSU. Program database is in the NVRAM cartridge. The PCMCIA has the operating system. I don't think anything will happen but I've never done what you are attempting,
