Will Foxpro 2.6 dos run on Intel I5/I7 quad core 1

I still use FPD and can't want to build a new machine, but haven't been able to determine if FPD 2.6 will run on an 1156 socket Intel chipset MB, probably running a quad core I5-750
Either XP or Win7 would be fine

I just tested running Foxpro DOS on my machine and it works, but no guarantees as to how well.
I am using Windows 7 32 bit with an Intel Core Duo processor.

I've run it, but I had to use the dzpatch created years ago for the speed above 300Mhz problem. Once that's done, it runs like a champ.

I neglected to mention that I have also ran FPD on my prior machine which was an XP SP3 box. Another Intel Dual CPU box, but I don't have a clue as to what chipset.

I use startht.exe for assigning only 1 core to fox because sometimes multi core let my fox application crash
