WILL CHANGING TO SHIELDED DSL CABLE STOP/REDUCE SHORTWAVE
RADIO INTERFERENCE ? OR SHOULD I JUST DISCONNECT DSL AT
OUTSIDE BOX TO DX ? THANKS JR

Using shielded twisted pair (STP) cable will allow you to filter a good portion of the noise (don't forget to connect the drain wire) inside, but won't do too much for you from the NID out to the CO. If your copper comes in underground then that should help greatly. If your feed is aerial, then you may still suffer some despite the fact that the cable is also bonded. One way or the other, it's definitely worth trying.
