Will Aloha EDC 7.0 and onePOS process Worldpay Gift Card

Looking for a system to integrate gift cards into the POS at 3 stores using Aloha at 2 and OnePOS at the other

I have talked to several representatives of Worldpay and Firstdata and am getting very little positive information and less and less confidence in the information I am being given, so, I am bringing this to the "trenches"

Does anyone process Worldpay Gift Cards on a onePOS system?
Does anyone process Worldpay Gift Cards on Aloha? (I am on EDC version 7.xx)

It should. I don't think you will be able to settle the GC though like you would another CC through EDC. This is okay though. When you sell a gift card you take the money now and deposit. Later when the gift card is used is when you technically recognize the revenue through Aloha. What version of POS are you using?

I got the WorldPay answer for onePOS direct from a specialist at WorldPay
WorldPay does not support onePOS for WP Gift Cards even though they do for credit cards

FirstData DOES support FD gift cards in onePOS

Still a bit murky on First Data we have a Bancorp South FirstData account we process through the Firstdata North platform CES

FD gift Cards are supported on the North platform in Aloha BUT something about our merchant account does not support them and they have directed me to contact "cross sales" (I have spent over a week trying to answer what I thought could be answered in a couple of days with a few emails) Our FD sales rep has moved on.

You don't need to process gift cards because you take the funds in before the gift card is redeemed via cash or credit card. You shouldn't need to settle them and I don't believe in fact you can.

@POSTech72 I guess I need to rephrase my question and I am going to start another thread

by process I mean sell and redeem gift cards inside the terminal interface, we are currently having to use verifone terminals instead of an integrated solution. I completely understand gift cards, I have moved my database between 3 different processing platforms in the last 5 years but I am looking for a platform like Mercury Payments that will work on 2 different POS systems
