Will a renamed Access Manager User Class be affected in ReportNet?

If you rename a user class in Access Manager, will it have an impact in the corresponding ReportNet security? Will Cognos Connection still be able to recognize that user class? Will the user class need to be added to ReportNet roles again? I am trying to propose a change to an existing user class so I need to assess the possible effects.
