Hi there I have tried to convert to 2000 format, but it's greyed out so i presume it is already in 2000 format. It allows me to convert to 2002 or 97.

In this case will the database open on a machine that has only acess 2000 on it??? or will they need to upgrade to 2002. Many thanks

Provided your code don't use features not available in 2k, it should.

Hope This Helps, PH.

The current format should display in the title of the database window like: [blue]Database (Access 2000 file format)[/blue]

If this states 2000 then any PC with Access 2000 or later should be able to open it.
