Hey all, I have a 4000M in a rack with a 2824 and I was wondering if it's possible to trunk these two devices together. Anyone ever do anything like this?

Thanks,

Joe B

I've never tried, but it should work.

Yes it will work just fine, make sure the uplink port to the 4000m is tagged with 802.1q for all vlans that you want to pass across the link. Is there any layer 3 involed in the design?

unclerico & MrNick0483, thanks for the encouragement. MrNick0483, there won't be any layer 3 involved.

Thanks,

Joe B
