I have a Description file that I only want certain records for:

WALKUP/12345/LORIANE X1234

The 12345 number will vary, but rest of information will be the same.

Would I use a 'like'? Not sure how I would write it -

{Job History.Ship Via} = "W" and
{Job History.UserDef01} like "WALKUP/?????/LORIANE"
or

{Job History.Ship Via} = "W" and
{Job History.UserDef01} like "WALKUP/?????/LORIANE *"

Thanks for your help,
seebee

Hi SeeBee,
The second option will work providing that the middle number is always five digits long, and allow the text and number after 'Loriane' to be any length.
The first option allows nothing after Loraine at all.

If the length of the middle number does vary then use:

{Job History.UserDef01} like "WALKUP/*/LORIANE*
