Wildcard Searching for files or directories

I'm using Wise for Windows Installer 5.0 Professional edition. From System Search on the Installation Expert page I create a new File Search.

There is no mention of what wildcard chars to use in the online manuals etc so I use * or ? as wildcards in the file name. But the search does not find a known file/directory. I can't believe that there would be NO wildcards for file searching. :-( Come on guys!!


Someone must know what character to use!
