WIFI IP PHONES with NEC IPS

Our company would like to use WIFI IP phones for their technicians.
We have Wifi access points that cover 5 buildings over 1500 feet.Could I just buy any WIFI IP phones and use it with our NEC IPS?
I'm also not so sure about the quality of reception. We already have some IP phones and licenses.
