Hi,

I've got a strange error that's coming up in an Access App (Access 2003 front end and SQL Server 2k backend). You open the app and attempt to update a field (any field) in one of the forms (assessment details), when you attempt to get it to update you get a constant "write error" message and are invited to either drop changes or save to the clipboard. It has been possible to update these records in the past.

I can provide any further information that might be useful.

A fix for this is pretty urgent so if anyone has come across this, or has any advice, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Write Conflict: You can either Discard the changes or copy them to the clipboard"

The dialogue has three options: Save Changes (not available), Copy to Clipboard and Discard Changes.

No BitField allowing Null in the SQL Server table ?
You may consider adding a TimeStamp field in this table.

Hope This Helps, PH.
