Wierd Problems with iPECS LIK-­‐MFIM100

Good Afternoon,

We have been experiencing wierd problems with our new LG iPECS LIK-­‐MFIM100 phone system.

Problem: Our system periodically and randomly erases Directory entrys (so our dial by name will not work properly) or voicemail greetings. Also when a call is transferred from reception to a station sometimes only rings once and goes to voicemain. Person is at there desks and can not get to the phone fast enough. Also Caller id has never worked at the station for transferred calles. Ony shows after staff member picks up.

We have had the main unit replaced, and also last week replaced the power supply. We have added a separate switch so that it is not in our network. So I am thinking software issue.

Has anyone experienced these issues? Is anyone on this software version. Really frustrated with LG. Just want to get it workings.

It is very new software version, so maybe to blame it. But there are few things to check before doing this like check if the system was initialized properly - in pgm 450/452 before the customer data was entered. was the system upgraded? Or is it all new units ? Is the grounding properly installed - with grounding to All units?

I never have heard about such problems but this is mentioned in the SRN of 5.6Cl:
Before:
Sometimes, with un-known reason, System Speed Name list was broken

Now:
In Maint Mode,
maint> spdname sysinit
then, System Speed Name are re-arranged
