Hi,

I'm sure this is a really simple thing to do:

I have a cell with data validations set as limited to a list. Some of the entries in the list are quite long, however I want the cell to be narrow (and only display the first character of the selection.

When the user presses the arrow to display the list of allowable entries the width of the displayed list appears to limited to the width of the cell + width of the arrow.

Is there any way of increasing the width of the list, without increasing the width of the cell?

Hope I've explained this clearly enough!

Many thanks,

Ed Metcalfe.
