I'm creating a Director movie which is going to be displayed on a widescreen plasma tv (42", 16:9 ratio, 1024 x 1024).

What resolution do I have to set the movie up as to fill the screen? I've been told to do it at 1024 x 576, but do you have to change the screen res of the laptop you're running it off? (Powerbook G4 12")

Please help!!

Create your Director movie in 1024 x 576 (set the projector to fullscreen, centred). Set the laptop screen resolution to 1024 x 768. Then you need to set the plasma to display the movie fully. That's it.

However, according to my experience, plasma screen's display behaviour is entirely depending on the make. The movie fills up Sony's screen doesn't necessary fills Samsung screen fully. So test first!
