Wich patches do I need for BCM 400 4.0?

Here is the list I see available but I dont need all of these?
I want to make sure it is current and up to date as much as possible.
The system in 1 year old and I am not sure how the patches work.
I am thinking use the SU 009 and all patches after that date?

You are right - the monthly patches include all the previous patches

I'd like to stay one month behind in general patching - 200802 is what i'll do now - and then add individual patches as and when there is a specific issue. Its just a precaution - as NT has in the past 'recalled' some patches

BCM.R400.SU.SYSTEM.009 states:
Dependencies:
Required Updates
- BCM.R400.160-SoftwareManagement or later must be applied before this update

This update is actualy inside of the BCM.R400.SU.SYSTEM.009
Does this mean update that file first then the rest in side of the zip file?

I am attempting to do this remotely using Schedule off an FTP server.....so far I learned I need to unzip the files first but in this case I presume I need to have only that BCM.R400.160-SoftwareManagement in the directory? then upload the rest of files and do another schedule for the rest of the files?

Dependencies:
Required patches
- BCM.R400.SU.System.005 or later version
The dependency patch should be applied first.


So WTF do I do?
