Why would PC Anywhere be Bumping Off Lotus?

One of our restaurants in Georgia is having a problem with PC Anywhere and Lotus. When a person dials into the PC using PC Anywhere, if Lotus is opened or being used, Lotus will automatically close. Lotus will close and save any information. For the time being we will call the restaurant in Georgia before dialing into the PC so that they can save and close out Lotus before we dial into the PC. Any guidance with this problem would help me out so much!
