I have a PDF document that is an advert for my shop. It was created by a third party advertising company. When you open the document it is set to somethng like 200%. I need to reduce it to 50% which isnt a problem. The problem occurs when I save the document and then go back into it, it has reverted back to the original. I need it to be saved as I am taking it to be reproduced on some leaflets and they need it at the smaller size and not the bigger.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I think you are going to have to go back to the company that made the PDF in the first place.

>>I need it to be saved as I am taking it to be reproduced on some leaflets and they need it at the smaller size and not the bigger.<<

Why can't these people scale the PDF in whatever program they are creating the leaflet in? All layout programs allow you to resize graphics.

On going down to the company that are going to reproduce it for me all they had to do was resize it then print. When I spoke to them on the phone they swore blind that they couldnt reduce the size of the image on site, and they can only work with the size of the original image. I finally lost patience with them cos I thought they can easily resize as I was doing it here in work. They garbled on that they have had this issue before and there version of Acrobat wont allow them to do it. As soon as I went down there and showed what button they needed to press all was ok.

Thanks for your response, but out of curiosity, I am unable to save it because the advertising company have locked it so no further amendments can be made?

Thanks again

I suggest you don't use the same copmpany ever again. It doesn't sound like they know what they are doing.
