My company is switching from an old version of Office to Office XP. I have some Excel macros that go to a mainframe program on my desktop using the "AppActivate" command and then use a "SendKeys" command to enter information contained in my spreadsheet. In the old Excel, this worked fine. However, with the new Excel, my macro switches to the other program with the "AppActivate" command, but then just dies when it gets to "SendKeys." I figured I am missing something from the installation, but the IS department is unable to help me. "SendKeys" works if I use it in a macro that stays in Excel (doesn't go to another program). Is there some extra coding that I need to do with the new version of Excel? Am I missing something else?
