Why won't my job fire?

I have a simple job that does not seem to fire on our live system. An identical job is set on a test system locally, and it fires with no problem. The only thing I know of that is different is that the one on the local station was created while logged in as SA, and the one on the live server was created with another user, but that user is supposed to have full administrator rights. Would this cause it, or does anyone know of anything else that could cause the problem?
