Hi everybody,

Can you help me with a baffling problem? In the book I'm editing, I have some small gray side-head boxes (anchored frames) containing two or three words. I've defined a light gray background color (RGB 94, 94, 94) for the boxes, and used it as their fill color.

The boxes look fine onscreen, with the black text clearly visible over the gray background. However, the gray won't print.

I've tried the various choices in the color's definition settings: Tint, Spot, Process, Overprint, Knockout... nothing works. Have any ideas?

Thanks! Zeppo

It's an HP LaserJet 4P (b/w, 600 dpi). I've never had any trouble with graphics in other programs.

The first thing I would try is to create a PDF file of the Frame file (using the Distiller virtual printer) and then print the PDF file. If the PDF file prints okay, you know that your printer and Frame aren't playing well together for some reason.
