Why this sofware has such psychedelic complexity to handle colors ???

I use CorelDraw since more than 10 years. It always worked satisfactory for me.
But since I bought the X4 edition, it became a nightmare when it comes to get real colors printed or put on a Website.
Could anyone explain why did this hilarious change take place and to WHOM on earth can it be usual in anything??
