Why the new version of VolumLogix (5. ?) cannot be run on Unix acrh

Hi,
I believe the last release of Volume Logix was 2.3. It reappeared in the guise of WideSky Solutions Enabler Symmetrix Device Masking. In the environment I am working I am using 5.1.1 version on a Solaris 8 box with no issues.

In fact, Vlogix 2.3 is EOL, since customer use Solution Enabler 5.0.x / WideSky 5.3.1, the commands to use are :
"symmask" and "symmaskdb".
Here some examples of Vlogix to Symcli conversion :
Vlogix : vcmfind
Symcli : symmask discover hbas
Vlogix : fpath lshbawwn
Symcli : symmask list hbas
Vlogix : fpath lshosts -d
Symcli : symmask -sid list logins
Vlogix : fpath adddev -d [-w|-u] -f -r
Symcli : symmask -sid [-wwn|-awwn] -dir -p add devs <r>
Vlogix : fpath rmdev -d [-w|-u] -f -r
Symcli : symmask -sid [-wwn|-awwn] -dir -p remove devs <r>
Vlogix : fpath swaphba -d [-w|-u] -n
Symcli : symmask -sid [-wwn|-awwn] replace <wwn>
....
Moreover, on DMX box, VCMDB volume can be either type 3 (=24 cyl.) or type 4 (=48 cyl.) and vlogix cannot works with these kind of vcmdb type.
