guys i posted a fla. i don't understand why it takes so long to load from f2s. please view the file and tell me what i am doing wrong as far as the actual fla itself. what can i do to make it smaller if that is what i need to do. but to me there is nothing there and i don't know why it takes so long to load.

thanks in advance,
stupid

(will need to understand this for future banners and things like that where i will ad animation and sound together)

hey stupid, what size is it anyway, so I know whether or not to bother? You know I've got a slow connection anyway.

How many 3MB mp3s do you have in there?

Virt!
Had a look at your fla! 37 minutes download! You're in deep debt man! A few coffees!

I know nothin' about Dreamweaver, but it appears to me, you've created your motion tween on your logo in that application. What I can say is importing a jpg 1080*1429 pixels at 32 bits per pixel (& using Imported JPEG data) and a mp3 at 44Khz stereo 16 Bit is certainely part of your size problem! Another problem seems to be your morph in scene 2. I don't know how you did this (Dreamweaver again I suppose) but, takin that out, cuts the movie size in half!

I don't know how you managed this (the whole thing is but 10 to 15 secs. long!) but your fla is over 10MB and your swf rarely under 2.5MB depending on what I take out!

Sorry to say this, but I guess you'll have to read your Dreamweaver's manual and start from scratch!

This one is but 700KB and sorry to say this again, but is far more complex than what you have to date!

- Dave I know kids might be watchin'... But don't flag me on this one!

This has nothin' to do with F2s! A 2.5MB movie will take an eternity to download on any server... Get a T1 conection and back to work! Mind you, your T1 connection won't help me or many other users... We'll be long gone before anything shows up on screen!

No offense kid2! Just tryin' to help you out!
