Why should I upgrade my Intuity Audix LX R1.1?

I am currently running Intuity Audix LX R1.1 and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the benefits of upgrading my system. I'm not even sure of the next step up from this system.
Also, does anyone know what gets captured in the nightly backup? Voice messages? Configuration?
