why it lets blank fields in the table

Hi,

In the table for my fields even if I pick the option
"do not alow null". I noticed when I save the tables with out entering anything in the fields it let me save with out promting me and saying "null not allowed"

I belive in some other databases if you have picked "not null" for a field and try to save it with out entering anything it will not let you save........

If you are dealing with a string field, you might actually be saving a zero length string which is different from null even though both of those things would be "blank" to us.

You might also want to check the database table from the command prompt and verify that the rows are actually added. Your client driver might be ignoring the error that occurs.
