can someone please help me with this? i used Fireworks to break the page, but when i went to rebuild, i get this small white line where my images wont butt together. i cant figure out WHY this is doing this either!

I think I see the problem. I see a lot of this going on in the HTML:

<td><img src=&quot;/spacer.gif&quot; width=&quot;1&quot; height=&quot;26&quot; border=&quot;0&quot;></td>

This is a 1 pixel wide line that is between the horizontal and verticle images.

This happens sometimes when WYSIWYG programs create HTML.

If you know HTML you can remove the tags that are causing the problem. My guess is that you don't want to mess with changing the HTML.

Try creating the slices again from scratch in Firworks. See if you get the same results. Personally, I like using the Adobe products more than Macromedia. If you can try Illustrator or ImageReady. Even Photoshop has a slice tool.

thanks so much! you're right, i dont even mess with the code, i couldnt have found that. i really need some REAL html training i suppose, just so i can skim my code for stuff like that.

i will go back and see if i can fix that though!
