Why is there a difference in font when printing from ePortfolio and CR

Hi

We are experiencing a difference in the fonts (and to a lesser extent, the layout) when printing from ePortfolio (from CE 9 Standard) and when printing from CR 9 professional. CR 9 professional provides the more preferred font and general layout.
I might have to mention that when printing from CE 9 Standard, the report automatically exports to PDF from where to print.

Any suggestions?

Are the same fonts installed on the CE Server as on the client running CR Pro?

I just duplicated the fonts (there were some missing), and it solved about 90% of the problem. Thanks for pointing me into the correct direction though

Glad to help..The whole client/server thing can be very confusing, when it comes to component usage/needs..
I have started to install CR Pro on my CE servers so that I can be sure that what runs the way I want it in Pro will also run that way in CE.

Do you have the same default printer on the server as you have on the development machine? This will cause noticeable differences in formatting.

You should also not that you need to have the same printer drivers installed on both machines. Each printer and printer driver has its own characteristics that Crystal looks at when formating a report.

I don't have the specific links handy, but Crystal Decisions has some white papers on their web site, K-base I think, which I found quite useful a while back.
 
Any suggestions if it is not possible to install the same printer on the CE server, as the default printer on which the CR 8.5 client is installed?
