Hello everyone,

I once remove my floppy drive and when i install it back, it can't function well. The light lit up from boot up and never goes off. It fails to read all my floppy disks too? Is it due to the improper connection of the wire? How should it be connected? Please advice..

Thank you.

Howdy:

Flip the cable around.. The red stripe on the cable has to connect with Pin1 on the floppy.

Sounds like you've got the ribbon cable turned over. Take it loose from the floopy, turn it over, and plug it back in.

I think we've all been there and done that one once ;)

SESaskDFC, I think we posted at the same time. I wasn't copying you, honest! [lol]
