I am creating an html report that uses Absolute Positioning, and the only CSS on the page is a Page-Break tag to force a page break. (not sure if that has anything to do with my problem... probably not)
My problem is that each page of my document shows about 1 MB in the print queue. The original document file is only 2MB. And all that is on the page is a very small optimized black and white GIF, and no more than a 5 or 6 lines of total text... a couple of html table cells for borders
etc.... each page is basically a paycheck for paying our clients. So that will give you an idea of the small amount of information per page.
Could this be happening because of PostScript fonts? and rendering to the printer wrong?
Any point in the right direction would be helpful!... By the way I am printing to an HP LaserJet 5si.
Other programs (3rd party) that print the exact same document, print each page at about 10K per page... I am definately missing somthing
Thanks to anyone that can help.
