Why is MS Office only running with the set up cd in the cd drive

Hi,
I had to reinstall MS office when I caught a virus.
Somehow it now only runs with the CD in the drive.
It slows down the operation a bit. Anyone know the fix to this? Thank you, Elaine

It is supposed to be an option during installation of each feature as to whether it is installed to disk, installed on first use or run from the CD. If this is OFFICE 2000 or OFFICE XP, you may have an activation problem. Compare Code (Text)
Generate Sort in VB or VBScript
