I am an AOL tech.Once While troubleshooting AOL I observed that when I went to internet options->connections the dialup setttings box was empty.Usually there is america online listed there.what is the reason for the box been empty.The member had win98,AOL 7 and using dialup modem to connect.Somehow I think that the problem that the member had is rooted in the box been empty.any idea why it is empty? dail-up networking more than likely needs reinstalled. your aol install reemed his computer! haha j/k Try adding a new DUN connection NOT AOL and if it is in there then, you know it was the AOL install, if not the reinstall DUN.
