Why is changing margins so difficult?

I have a client who has Access. It has worked fine in the past. She has a Label Report that is supposed to print 10 rows of 3 labels each (I think it is Avery 8160, standard address labels).

Now the labels only print 9 rows. The only reason I can see for this is that the bottom margin of the page is set at .563 (the top margin is the standard .5). I changed the bottom margin to .5 but it immediately changes back to .563 so that bottom line does not print. The file is not set to Read Only so I don't know why I cannot change the margin.

Anyone have an idea about this? Thanks.

This issue is because the default printer (probably an ink jet) doesn't print any closer than .563 inches to the bottom of the paper.

The solution is to leave the bottom at .563 and set the top margin to .437 (or a little less). This might also require moving your text boxes in your detail section down about .063 inches.
