why Errors in EventLog for deleted scheduled jobs

Basically I need to use DTS to copy a DB from our main server to BK Server daily at night. So I scheduled a job 'Daily copy From Main to BK' and saved it to main server. Later on, I found this job didn't work at all, so i deleted it using Enterprise Manager. Now, no jobs (packages)
shows in 'Data Transformation Services' section of Enterprise Manager. But in EventLog of Windows 2K, Errors are raised every day by SQL Server and shows "SQL Server Scheduled Job 'Daily copy From Main to BK' (0xEBE48A8751438F4FAE5B467AE03BBB28) - Status: Failed - ...", Why?

Anyone can help? Appreciated.

You removed the DTS package but did not remove the JOB from the server. Drill down in Enterprise Manager to Management..SQL Server Agent..Jobs and 10 to 1 ... you will find the residual job still there.
