Why Doesn't Quark on the PC Doesn't Show All Fonts?

Hello All

I have QuarkXpress 5.1 on a 2.4 ghz Pentium 4 PC. When I choose a font in Quark, all of the installed fonts on this PC do not appear in the Quark font window.

I may see only one font in that family, but not all of them. For example. I have the following Type 1 fonts installed on my PC:

Bernhard Modern BT - Roman
Bernhard Modern BT - Italic
Bernhard Modern BT - Bold
Bernhard Modern BT - Bold Italic

Quark only shows Bernhard Modern BT - Roman in the font menu - the other variations of that font are not available.

I have Adobe Font Manager on this system, and have also tried Font Agent. Neither helped.

Other applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign display all available fonts in their font menus, so I stumped as to why there is a problem with Quark.

Any ideas on this issue would be appreciated.
