Why does the service stop when closing program?

When closing out of BackupExec 7.0 I get the following Dr.Watson for Windows NT 4.0
"besever.exe"
"Exception access violation (OXC0000005)address ######"
This stops the BackupExec Server service.
Can anyone help me correct this?

First of all, if you realy have 7.0, I would recommend an update to 7.01 rev 1616.It's the last free upgrade.

Reapply your SP and download the component checker and MDAC 2.1.2 from Microsoft and instal MDAC with the Component checker.
