A site "twisted humor.com" is showing up in my history and has placed a cookie on my harddrive. I never entered this address in my address box. I never knowingly went to this site but it has placed itself in my computer. What gives? do sites somehow get linked and place themselves in my computer? This is causing me trouble with the spouse.

This could've happened from a pop-up on another site you visited. You can delete cookies and history and probably get rid of it unless it has re-written your homepage to go to that site everytime. Right click on the Inernet Explorer icon on the desktop and select Properties, Delete Files, Delete cookies, and Delete History. This gets rid of normal cookies and history, if it doesn't, then it will take another approach to fix it. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....." [morning]
