Why do my images with white backgrounds suddenly print out in grey?

Until recently I used an older version of In design but since I changed to CS2 this very undesirable side effect appeared.

I have triedall kinds of things with converting everything to EPS files and using only CYMK.

What did Adobe change in the new version that jixes the files?

I supppose other people must have this problem too and there is a very simple explanation.

Would be grateful for any hints.

Are your white backgrounds blank, as no fill or None, or no fill Paper? Try changing to None.

Adobe did some color interpretation cahnges in Crteative Suite 2 to make the colors among all programs more compatable. There had been a number of color compatability problems between Photoshop and teh other 2 apps.

CS2 might be interpeting your C0,M0,Y0,K0 (or RGBs) as something a little different.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
