I recently Installed OS X server on a dual 1.42 ghz power mac G4 with 2 gigs of ram.

Every day I come into the office and find FileMaker server is not running, I load terminal and check on my uptime and never has it been over a day!

My Powerbook never did this and I am afraid more people in the office will stay with their pcs if I cant fix this problem.

Any ideas what it is?

Does it go offline when its goes into sleep ?

It doesn't go offline during the day right ? So its when its sitting idle ?

If powersave mode is enable how about about disabling it and try again ? Cant do any harm for the purposes of testing ?

We had a similar problem & fixed it by setting the sleep for the hard drive to "never". Apparently when the computer went to sleep, it lost contact with everything else on the network and any programs which were shared over the network turned themselves off.
