why does listview control works on my pc but not on others?

Hi,

I've tried unregistering the comctl32.ocx file, both with regsvr32.exe and access' built in utility, but it keeps telling me that I need a separate setup utility to uninstall/unregister comctl32.ocx. can someone point me in the right direction, I'm not able to deploy my application because some user's will have visibility to the listview control, but on pc's where it doesn't recognize...i wont' be able to use the control, any suggestions?
