Why does Google index only some links that are link to my site but not all or most of it?

How do I find pages with high page rank that are related to my topic? Is there a free tool for this?

Please advise, thanks!

Google will index ALL the links it knows about, it simply doesn't display all the ones it knows about.

Forget page rank you just need relevant sites.

As ChisHirst said, Google will find the links and index them, but they show only a limited number of links to a site. There was a time when webmasters would check links to competing sites and then request links from the same pages that show links to the competitors site.

If you want to see more links use the link: command in YAHOO and MSN. They are showing more or different pages than Google.

Thank you Christ and xtendscott for your replies - What really makes me mad is the links that are suppose to be most relevant and with most authority is not showing up! Anyways, Chris you said Page Rank doesn't matter, does that mean that it is a good helpful link as long as it has relevant content even if this site has a page rank of 0 or 1?
