Hi I was just if someone can answer this question.
Why, any time you have a URL or an e-mail address in your body copy in Indesign, upon exporting to PDF, does it make it a live link in Acrobat?!?!?
I have to create an online flyer similar to what an Ad would look like, only there are a few URL's and email address we don't want to make clickable. But Indesign or Acrobat automatically makes them clickable upon exportation. And not only that, but you can't remove them using Acrobat's "remove all links" command because it doesn't even read there are links on the page.
I have figured that in order to stop this I am must convert the URLs and email addresses while in Indesign to outlines and then export.
But Can anyone tell me why this automatically happens, and if there is another way to remove the auto-created links other then converting to Outlines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you very much
